This EPC portfolio report for letting agents shows where each managed rental stands against the EPC register. You upload your own property list by secure CSV. We match only that list and return a PDF. It is part of our free Greater Manchester pilot and carries no obligation.

Last updated: 21 October 2026. Law status: EPC C by 1 October 2030 is confirmed government policy, not yet law. The minimum in force today is E.

What the EPC portfolio report for letting agents shows

Our portfolio gap report turns a list of addresses into a one-page-per-property view. Each line shows the band on the register, the date of the certificate and how far the property is from C.

We also flag properties with no certificate found and properties where the address needs checking by hand. Automated matching is never perfect, and we say so in the report.

The gap to C is an indicator. The EPC C rule will use a new certificate with several measures, and the numeric thresholds are not yet published. Our EPC C 2030 guide explains this.

How the secure CSV upload works

  • Prepare a CSV with one property per row: address and postcode. A landlord name is optional.
  • Upload it using the secure form above.
  • We match the addresses to the EPC register.
  • We check unclear matches by hand and send you the PDF report.

Our process is described honestly: this is a service starting in the pilot, so the first reports are prepared with human checking. We aim to send the first report within 72 hours of receiving your property list.

How we use EPC register data

We use register address data only on the list you upload. Its purpose is to show the energy performance of your rentals.

We never use it to build prospect lists, to find new landlords or for cold marketing. We do not combine your list with anyone else's. We keep your list and report for six years, then delete them.

The Ordnance Survey and Royal Mail copyright notice for register data travels with your report.

Who receives the details you send

Your upload goes to LAMTANS Engineering Ltd and its delivery partners, who prepare the report. Compliant Lets is a trading name of LAMTANS Holdings Ltd. Read the privacy notice before you upload. Marketing messages are a separate choice and the box is unticked.

What agents do with the report

Use the PDF to decide who to contact first. Properties below E need attention soonest, as E is the rule in force. Then use the landlord letter pack to write to those landlords under your own name.

The full offer for agents is on our letting agents page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the portfolio report free?

Yes, in the Greater Manchester pilot it is free to letting agents. There are no referral fees and no obligation to use our retrofit service.

Do you keep my property list?

We use it only to prepare your report. We keep your list and report for six years, then delete them.

Can you use my list to contact landlords?

No. We never use register data or your list for prospecting or cold marketing. Landlords are only contacted if you ask us to send something on your behalf.

What if a property has no EPC?

It appears in the report as a flagged line. A property to be let needs a valid certificate, so the landlord may need an assessment from an accredited assessor.

Is a rating of C on the register enough for 2030?

Not necessarily. The new rule uses a new certificate, and only certificates issued before 1 October 2029 can keep a home compliant. This is confirmed policy, not yet law.

How accurate is the match?

Matching is by address, so some lines need human checking. We flag those. If a rating looks wrong, see our independent EPC check.
