This privacy notice explains how Compliant Lets uses the personal details you give us through this website, who receives them and what rights you have. Compliant Lets is a trading name of LAMTANS Holdings Ltd. Work arising from enquiries is delivered by LAMTANS Engineering Ltd.

Who is responsible for your details
LAMTANS Holdings Ltd, trading as Compliant Lets, decides how and why your details are used. In data protection law this makes it the controller. You can contact us through our contact page.
What details we collect
We collect the details you type into our forms:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your message, and the address or type of property if you give it.
- Whether you agree to marketing emails. This is a separate box and is never ticked for you.
- Technical details such as the date and time of the enquiry.
We do not ask for payment details or other sensitive personal details on this website. If you would rather talk to us first, use our free assessment form.
How we use your details and our legal basis

We use your phone number only to call you back about your enquiry, unless you tell us otherwise.
Who receives your details
Your enquiry is sent to LAMTANS Engineering Ltd and its delivery partners, so that the work you ask about can be assessed and carried out. We also use technology providers that store and route enquiries for us, including our lead management and website systems. They act on our instructions.
We do not sell your details. We do not share them with other companies for their own marketing.
Energy performance register data
Where a letting agent or landlord uploads a list of their own properties, we may match it to the public energy performance register to show the energy performance of those rentals. We do not use register data to build prospect lists or for cold marketing.
How long we keep your details
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, to meet legal and accounting duties and to handle any complaint. Marketing details are kept until you withdraw consent.
Cookies and website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website, for example which pages are read most. We only set analytics cookies if you choose Accept on our cookie banner. If you choose Reject or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set.
If you accept, Google Analytics collects details such as the pages you view, your approximate location (town or city level), and your device and browser type. We use this only to improve the website and we do not use it to identify you personally. Google acts on our instructions and may process this data outside the UK under approved safeguards. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this website’s cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the details we hold about you.
- Correct details that are wrong.
- Delete your details, in some cases.
- Restrict or object to how we use them.
- Move your details to another provider, in some cases.
- Stop marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or telling us.

If you are unhappy with how we use your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
