Our specialists: retrofit assessors and coordinators, and the roles around them

Behind every Compliant Lets plan are retrofit assessors and coordinators, plus designers, energy assessors and senior managers. They work for LAMTANS Engineering Ltd, which delivers our work. This page lists each role and the type of qualification it needs. We publish roles, not names or photos. Last checked 21 October 2026.
Why we list roles and not names
You should be able to judge who is checking your property. Roles and qualifications let you do that. Staff names and photos are not published on this site, to protect our team's privacy.
Compliant Lets is a trading name of LAMTANS Holdings Ltd. The people below work for LAMTANS Engineering Ltd. Our about page explains the link between the two companies.

Domestic energy assessors
A domestic energy assessor produces the EPC. Only an accredited assessor can lodge a certificate on the national register. Our team includes accredited domestic energy assessors.
We never call an unlodged report an EPC. Our independent EPC check explains the difference.
Retrofit coordinators, assessors and designers
PAS 2035 is the standard for assessing and designing retrofit work. It names the coordinator as the project manager of a retrofit. The coordinator oversees the assessor, the designer and the installers.
Retrofit assessors look at the building first. Retrofit designers then plan the measures so they work together. Our team includes all three roles. See how we work for the steps they follow.
Senior construction managers and MCIOB members
Our team includes Level 7 senior construction managers and MCIOB members. They review the technical content of this website before it is published. Each guide names the reviewer's role and the date.
How the roles are checked
Every page shows who wrote it and who reviewed it, by role. We list the held accreditations on our accreditations page. You can also read our editorial policy.
