Retrofit people helping landlords beat the 2030 deadline
We are a Manchester retrofit team that decided landlords needed one company to take the whole EPC C problem off their hands: the assessment, the plan, the grants, the works and the paperwork. Compliant Lets is how we do that.
Who we are
Compliant Lets is a trading name of LAMTANS Holdings Ltd, based at 1023 Stockport Road, Manchester M19 2TB. The retrofit works are delivered by our accredited partner installer, LAMTANS Engineering Ltd, a Manchester-based retrofit company that installs insulation, heating, solar, batteries and heat pumps across the region and already delivers ECO4 and Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant work.
That is the difference from a letting agent who sends your energy work out to a contractor and adds a margin. We are the installer. The price you see on your plan is the price you pay, and the team that surveys your property is the team that does the work and stands behind the warranty.
Why we started this
The rules changed in January 2026: every privately rented home in England and Wales must reach an EPC C standard by 1 October 2030, with a £10,000 cost cap and penalties up to £30,000. Most landlords we spoke to knew the deadline was coming but had no clear, costed route to it, and no one offering to handle the grants. We already had the qualifications and the crews. Compliant Lets puts them together into a single service aimed squarely at the landlord who wants the problem solved rather than a pile of quotes.

Compliant Lets (LAMTANS Holdings Ltd) arranges, prices and manages the work and holds the client relationship; LAMTANS Engineering Ltd carries these accreditations and delivers the installation.
Property management is coming
We are building a full property-management service with compliance built in, launching in 2027 once client money protection and redress-scheme registration are in place. Until then we take waiting-list registrations only, and we are honest about that on the management page. Retrofit is available now.
