Who we are

Compliant Lets is a trading name of LAMTANS Holdings Ltd, 1023 Stockport Road, Manchester M19 2TB. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about your data at hello@compliantlets.com.

What we collect and why

When you fill in a form on this website we collect your name, phone number, email address, the address and postcode of the property, its EPC band and type, how many rental properties you own, anything you write in the message box, and the time and internet address of the request. We use this to reply to you, to arrange and carry out the assessment or works you have asked about, and to keep a record of what was said and agreed.

Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is that these are steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate record of enquiries and in stopping spam (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not rely on the consent box for this; it confirms you have read this notice.

We do not send marketing unless you ask for it, and you can stop it at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.

Who we share it with

Your details go into our own enquiry and job system. If you go ahead with works we pass the property details to the accredited installer carrying out the job and, only with your agreement, to grant or finance bodies such as Greater Manchester Combined Authority or the Boiler Upgrade Scheme administrator, and to certification bodies such as TrustMark and MCS for lodgement. If you use the address finder on our form, the text you type is sent to Google's Places service to return suggestions; Google's own privacy policy applies to that request. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and do not proceed, we delete your details twelve months after our last contact. If you become a customer we keep the job record for six years after completion, because guarantees, grant audits and the EPC cost-cap rules can require it.

Cookies

This site sets one session cookie needed to protect the form against forged submissions. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future we will update this notice first.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email hello@compliantlets.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored on a UK-hosted server with access limited to the people who need it to handle your request.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top. This notice will also be updated with our ICO registration reference once registration is complete.
